  • I set up the business for daily service, as well as cash ups and any admin work. Thanks to the apprenticeship I have increased the development of my managerial side of things.

  • I haven't really learnt new skills, but the apprenticeship is helping with my confidence in how I conduct myself with both customers and employee's a like.

  • The monthly catch ups and chats with my Trainer. Really friendly, understanding and knowledgeable.

  • It's really well organised and easy to understand. The support is phenomenal.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager is really good and supports me a lot in my job role and in my apprenticeship. She helps me and mentors me to the besdt of her ability.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • He supports me a lot and guides me towards the correct direction I need to go. He is always there when I need him for advice or help.

  • It helps me understand the business and leadership styles that can be used. It's really helpful!

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • With work and apprenticeship, I only really have time to do a bit of gaming on the side. I stream in that time.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Good pay, safe job, always supporting their staff in many different ways and it is an all round safe environment to be in.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Marston's?
  • It is hard work, so go into it expecting to be busy and learn fast. It will be highly rewarding the harder you work within the business, and you will get noticed. It is worthwhile.
