To manage, maintain and administer electrical equipment on AWE Nuclear Licenced premises.
Yes, before i started working at AWE I had not knowledge of electrical equipment, the most i knew was what wires went into a light bulb and what they were, now my knowledge has advance for bigger, greater and more complicated electrical equipment
The good thing about AWE is every day is different, I enjoy this as you don't know what is ahead of you unless you are dealing with an issue which has already been planned, I enjoy the people I'm working with and there is never a sad face around.
Yes, the organisation is well organised, the majority of things are planned well ahead of time
More than enough which is a very good thing
Get plenty of support while training, if something is understood you will be taken thorough it step by step until your are competent enough to understand it
because you get a better understanding of what your dealing with before you actually have to do a job involving it
Yeah there is plenty, awe has its own rec-soc which has gym, sports, pub. everything you could ask for about a 2 minute walk from awe
Yes
For many reasons, once you find a job role that you want i can assure them they'll want this job as a career not just a go to work and work type of thing
go for it, you only life once, get the job you want, get the job you want to enjoy, its not going to enrol you by itself
