As a night team member, I manage the nights reception team and coordinate running of the hotel during the night hours, focusing on security, safety, reception, communication, Public area cleaning and other tasks as nessesary.
I have been in the company for 9 years, and in that time been through almost all roles in the company, I have learnt many skills in all aspects of hospitality and catering. From the start of the program I have been expanding my skill sets and putting myself in a management mindset.
I enjoy the interactive nature of the program, getting to know others in similar possitions and researching various topics to expand my skill sets. The trainers I have been with are knowledgable and confident, and very approachable with friendly demeanors.
Its highly organised, each week is very structured and gives a good guideline for what needs to be done when.
My employers are keen on the program and as long as I am proactive with the support, they take consistent interest in participating.
There is a lot of support from lifetime, they are professional and very supportive, and create a trusting relationship between learner and trainer, I have been very impressed by how passionate they are!
It isnt so much the qualification, as it is the focused training and content that allows you to grow in a more focused manner. Learning in each areas and subjects in practical applicable ways means you get a real handson experience.
There are some, but unfortunately COVID-19 has made that difficult to facilitate, however in the past there has been many events.
Yes
They have been a stable growing company for many years, and offers a good product, with good focused development growth in the company for those who want it.
My advise would be, to be yourself! The people are what make the buisness is one of their motos, so personality is everything.
