Providing support to employees through a range of development programmes. There is loads of variety within my role and no two days are the same. I get involved with designing workshops, meeting with key stakeholders and facilitation.
I'm always learning and have the time to reflect and improve my skills through personal development conversations with my Line Manager
Love the programme - it feels so real and relevant to my role.
The programme is really well structured, I had a great induction with the provider and got to meet my cohort face-to-face and we've kept in contact via WhatsApp since. My tutor, manager and peers have all been super supportive with my studies.
My line manager has been a great support since starting the programme. She's completed both the Level 3 and 5 qualification so is able to really guide me through the programme. My Manager, Head of Department and HR manager have given me full flexibility to complete the programme.
My Training provider is fab - I am able to contact them via email or phone. They are always available or find time to support me. I have had face-to-face meetings which allows me to go through my progress in more detail.
This programme is perfect for my role, putting the theory straight into action! I feel the programme content has allowed me to be more competent and confident in my role. The qualification has also allowed me to learn more about the industry I work as well as support my future career.
Yes! We have team socials, a range of communities we can join (I'm a member of the parents community) and also host seasonal sporting events for all employees to get involved in.
Yes
I've learnt so much since joining and I'm really fascinated by all the different aspects our business has to offer. We are a national business reporting into a global business (CRH) so the opportunities here are so exciting! The culture and team spirit is amazing at Tarmac.
Be yourself! Share what makes you, you! Tarmac really embraces who you are as a person and personally has pushed me to really push myself out of my comfort zone and aim high in regards to my career aspirations all along the way being guided by some amazing, really supportive people (e.g. my manager, team and mentor)
