  • My role involves using IT systems, having regular contact with clients, managing my own case load, completing administrative tasks.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My role has taught me vital customer service skills, I have learned how to use a new IT system. It has helped me improve my time management skills and they ability to identify what tasks need prioritising over others.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am really enjoying my programme, I have learned valuable skills that I can use in day to day life as well as the working environment.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think that my programme is structured well as I have prioritised time that incorporates my study time. I spent the first 4 months in admin which helped me learn the valuable skills needed to complete basic tasks and gain basic knowledge.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my employer. I am in regular contact with both my mentor and my manager which is helpful to discuss any questions that I may have.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a lot of support from my training provide, especially my coach. If I am unsure of a task my coach always allows time to discuss the problems I may be facing and helps me understand the work that I need to complete.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The training that I do through my training provider has helped me comply to the legal requirements and regulations set out by the SRA. This has helped me understand my duty as a case manager and ensured that I do not work outside of my ability.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I joined Co-op during a pandemic so I haven't been able to experience any extra-curricular activities. They have tried to do as many as they can in the circumstances e.g. Fit for Feb.

  • Yes

  • Everyone who works for Co-op have been very welcoming and it is a friendly environment where everyone is happy to help you with anything you may be struggling with.
