Funeralcare Transformation Portfolio PMO Analyst, responsible for status reporting, key milestone tracking, risk and issue management, resource management, supporting programme PMO providing governance assurance, guidance and aligning ways of working to central Transformation
I have broadened my knowledge of end to end Project Management through APM, and often refer back to the BOK when conducting reviews and deep dives into elements of the Portfolio such as developing change management and stage gate processes
I really enjoyed getting to grips with the academic Project Management side in preparation for the exam, as I think this provides a great foundation for practical application.
I would say the programme is really clearly structures separated into 2 completely different sections
My employer is supportive for me to ringfence time to revise/produce my coursework. I have not yet engaged my manager to review my work
My mentor is proactive in booking checkpoint meetings in with me well in advance and was very supportive when I was revising for my exam, providing me with lots of material, offering advice and adding me to Growth Company revision sessions
I feel my course is equipping me with the skills and knowledge, and giving me more confidence to input my thoughts and drive improvements in my team
Yes - before COVID I was part of the charity and events team. Recently Co-op provided 2 weeks of events to join from comedy shows to music performances, yoga, dancing, wellbeing sessions...all virtually. There is a choir, RISE, ASPIRE, PACT networks...

It's a company that's easy to standby from an ethical and moral point of view. We need to make money but we also give so much back to communities and charities across the country, there's tonnes of opportunity and everyone is supportive!
Co-op is looking for people who want to make a difference, so although it's about your skills knowledge and experience it's also about your interests and life outside of work. What motivates you and bringing your personality to what you do
