As a senior care assistant, I have to assist the residents with all the care needs. Also have to allocate certain tasks to my team members. Looking at allergens and medicine and making sure everyone is safe. Managing some of my newer colleagues and making sure they are confident with their work.
The course has a big focus on legal side of the business. It makes sure we know how to administer care legally and safely and the business ensures I do this and follow the correct business policies and guidance. This has definitely helped me and my skills to develop alot.
Really enjoy the programme alot.
Very well organised.
No issues with the support received.
Yes
Because of the support provided and good working conditions.
Experience is not always necessary, they offer a lot of training needed to do well.
