I am learning new skills and knowledge by working with aircraft maintenance to ensure airworthiness is maintained to keep others safe
I have learnt lots of new skills and developed the existing skills i learnt before the apprenticeship. I've broadened my knowledge of the impacts of health and safety and hand skills.
I am really enjoying this programme, being hands on makes it interesting and thats where i learn all the new skills.
Overall the programme is well structured however organisation can improve slightly by explaining and fully engaging with apprentices and not leaving some in the dark.
My employer supports me when i ask or need the support.
We receive an immense support when it comes to achieving qualifications and modules
Achieving my nvq allows me to perform to a good quality and achieve it while being safe. The modules i have learnt allows me to understand my role better.
None that i am aware of. Some of the cohort may go out together however this is outside of work
Yes
It has a strong work ethic and assists you in what you need for the future. It's support to get you where you want and to strive in the future
Make sure you want this because the application process is harder than some. Ensure that this is a path you want to take in the long run. Always ask yourself is this what you want to do, why do you want to do it and how you want to achieve it. Always have a plan. Come prepared to interviews and assessment days. The experience is amazing once your on the journey but make sure you know what opportunities you want in the future.
