I work with databases and analytic tools to assign IP addresses to devices on the network. I also do ad-hoc data analysis on device utilisation.
I have learnt a ton of new skills. everything from additional functions and coding in excel, to complete new coding languages and database manipulation.
I really enjoy my programme, its challenging enough to push myself but i always have the support i need whenever i need help.
Even with the pandemic the structure of the programme has been good. although difficult at times.
I receive all the help I need. I am reminded often that the support is there and I get support offered whenever I try new work.
We do get support from the training provider but the support we have received in some cases as been worse than others.
I have put the knowledge I have learnt from the training provider into my work multiple times. so I believe that it does help in my role very much.

I already have recommended friends to virgin media because of my experience in the programme. I've been able to have fun while working and learning, so i recommended the programme to friends that are also in the IT sector.
Be yourself. Always check all the options you're given. Take the opportunities you're given for improvement, you'll be surprised how much it helps.
