My role essentially involves carrying out routine maintenance on aircraft.
I’ve learnt how to communicate a lot better and how to work in a team
I’m currently enjoying my apprenticeship a lot as I’m learning new things everyday.
I think that the program I’m on is very well structured and organised from what I have experienced so far. All apprentices are thoroughly told where they are working for how long and when placements would end which is very useful
From British airways I have so far been given all the support I need in work and out which has been great
I have so far been given all the support I require from my training provider. They have helped me complete my nvq level 3 and 2 successfully which I am greatfull for
The nvq work and job cards that I’m completing are helping me a lot to better perform in my role as their allowing me to have a better understanding of the work I’m carrying out on the aircraft.
Yes there are many events that take place but due to the virus there currently isn’t much in offer.
Yes
I’d recommend British Airways to a friend as it’s a company that really cares about its employees and provides every opportunity for its employees to better them selves and feel appreciated.
To anyone applying to British Airways I’d say to them to be self confident and be aware of what your capable abilities
