As a mechanical fitter I will be fixing anything from a bilge pump to a bearing on a rotating radar aerial.
I have developed my skills in machining like using lathes and milling machines and I have developed a more greater understanding of engineering
I really enjoy my program because of how technically oriented it is.
My program is very well organised
We receive a huge amount of support from our employers which consists of a door is always open policy, regular emails regarding mental health and visits to my place of training to check how things are going.
We recive quite alot of support towards our qualifications.
I feel that our qualification helps us to perform better in our role because of the healthy ballance with particle work and theory work.
I don't know
Yes
I would recommend Babcock because it is the best apprenticeship in my area, it provides the best training, the best employee support and you will always have work to do.
Make sure that before you take your interview you have read up on the company and your job role because you will be expected to answer questions on it in the interview
