I am a Team Leader and my role is to run shift in restaurant smoothly, I’m responsible for finances, opening and closing the business, managing bookings, team. Making sure customers have the best experience, team follow brand standards, dealing with complaints. Dealing with team sickness. Promoting our restaurant locally to meet the cover target and budget target.
Yes. Apprenticeship program is really helpful with new skills like self awareness as a leader, organising my time, how to prioritise tasks at work. Also it really helped me to learn how to prepare a team meeting and what are important steps to follow. In a future it will help me to prepare and evaluate project plan.
I do enjoy it a lot. It would be probably better if I could do the theoretical stuff at work but pandemic stopped it. I’m looking forward to be able to use my new knowledge in practice and become better manager on day to day basis. It definitely gives me more confidence as a leader
It’s well organised and on every meeting I know what I have to do and it is expected from me. My trainer gives me enough time to complete next modules and I can always count on him when I need some extra help. Modules are organised in good order.
I have amazing support from my employer. I can always ask questions and get the answers and extra support when needed. I receive trainings all the time to have knowledge and skills to do my job better. I can use different platform to receive information needed for my apprenticeship work.
I can always get support from my trainer and nothing is ever a problem. When I was struggling mentally I had huge amount of support and get extra time to complete my scheduled work. I get access to different materials and I can always ask for extra explanation when something is not very easy for me.
My trainer really helps me to understand better my role and new skills I’m learning throughout my apprenticeship. He gives me plenty of examples from his experience which is massively helpful and give me more confidence. I’ve noticed few changes in my behaviour at work and all the knowledge makes me think about how can I perform better.
We massively support one of our charity partner and we organise events very often to raise money for them. They are usually sport events but also we make different kinds of activities at work like cake sales, activity packs for children, special raffles for Christmas or other holidays. We also support local kids football team
Yes
It is a really great company who has amazing values. They always care about their employees and make sure we are happy at work, we are treated fairly and get support whenever it’s needed. They did an incredible job during pandemic time with supporting us financially and protecting our jobs.
Definitely go for it! It’s amazing company who always look after their employees. It definitely feels like having another family. If you do your job properly you can only receive a warm welcome and support and chance to progress on every level of your career. I can’t recommend it enough
