  • I am a mechanical engineering apprentice and I go to different placements in the dockyard and see what it’s like to work in that sector

  • A lot of support whether it be sorting out my online work or problems in and around work

  • A lot of support if I have a question I can drop my ADM a message or ask my FLM in my placement

  • It gives me good knowledge about my job role and the do’s and dont’s of my trade

  • Yes there are plenty of opportunities and we get offered them all the time

  • Yes

  • Because it’s a good company to look after and it’s not a job it’s a career and it gives you lots of skills in and out of the workplace


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Babcock?
  • Stay with it and don’t fall behind on your online work because it makes it more difficult
