I am a mechanical engineering apprentice and I go to different placements in the dockyard and see what it’s like to work in that sector
Lots of skills including people skills engineering skills and life skills
I really enjoy it and I feel I will continue too
Very well
A lot of support whether it be sorting out my online work or problems in and around work
A lot of support if I have a question I can drop my ADM a message or ask my FLM in my placement
It gives me good knowledge about my job role and the do’s and dont’s of my trade
Yes there are plenty of opportunities and we get offered them all the time
Yes
Because it’s a good company to look after and it’s not a job it’s a career and it gives you lots of skills in and out of the workplace
Stay with it and don’t fall behind on your online work because it makes it more difficult
