1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

At the moment i attend TTE college as i am studying a level 3 in order to progress onto site

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have met a lot of new people in my apprenticeship and being one of the older ones u have been able to support them with knowledge i already have

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy what im doing in college at the minute, it has the best facilities and the teachers are all from engineering backgrounds so they offer the best support

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship is very clear what i have to do in order to successfully finish at the end of the 4 year period.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

At the moment due to COVID me and my employer are having weekly 1 to 1 micrsft teams meetings to keep up to date with how my apprenticship is going.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Here at TTE college we have 12 week reviews where teachers give an update to my employer on how well im doing and what needs improving.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Strongly agree that my qualification helps me perform better as im doing a btec all the knowledge fits in to when i eventually go on site.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is online meetings to attend at the moment but we unfortunately cant meet up at the moment for team activities.

AstraZeneca is an amazing company and it is a privilege to work for them because of what the do for the population of the world. They give us the support we need to suceed in the future.

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to AstraZeneca?

Study the background and information of the company, get facts and figures on how well the company have progressed through the years and what they have done to make the planet a better place
