Trainee Tax Technician, preparing UK tax returns and responding to queries on the UK tax system.
Working towards an ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) professional qualification and a diploma in Tax Practice. I have learnt alot of the details of the UK taxation system, including many of the rules for reliefs, what is taxable, residence etc.
Overall I enjoy my programme and feel it provides a good balance of work, training and social events.
From receiving feedback and praise internally I feel very valued by PwC and feel that they are appreciative of the effort you put in.
I feel the programme is well structured, with a good balance between work and training in place, giving the opportunity to learn and put your new knowledge into practice.
Our training provider is Kaplan, and we receive a good amount of support from them, in terms of meetings, online resources and classes etc.
PwC provided a great amount of support in terms of meetings, informal catch ups, classes, study leave etc.
My salary package is good, considering that PwC are paying for and giving me time to do my professional qualifications. I see my apprenticeship as an investment in my future, as when my training is complete, my salary and package will increase significantly.
PwC offers a great range of social events, both organised by management and by the social comittee.
