I was working as a teaching assistant mainly with year 3 children I supported children in the class one to one and in small groups. I would prepare lessons for the teacher.
I have learned to support bigger groups of children managing some difficult behaviour. I have more understanding of the curriculum.
I enjoyed the programme alot gained new relationships and skills.
The course was well organised and assignments were regularly marked and feedback given.
I have received alot of support from my employer through training and supervisions
I received alot of support as changes were made to my end point assessment due to illness.
The qualification has given me more knowledge and understanding of my role and what it takes.
