My role is an electrical apprentice at Babcock this involves my first year being at city college Plymouth where I learn the basic skills and qualifications of being an electrician
Yes I have learnt many new skills including how to handle and use tools and how to work with electrical equipment
I enjoy my programme very much
It is very well organised everything is scheduled and up to date
We receive a high amount of support from the employer and lecturers at the college
Again , a very good amount of support throughout
My qualification has made me more knowledgeable about the role and how to perform tasks correctly
There are many activities such as joining clubs and associations around the dockyard
Yes
It is the best apprenticeship in the area and the salary is great for any age group
Be confident and make sure you know what you are talking about
