I work within the Foodservice team at Premier Foods looking after the Education accounts and B2B. From managing customer enquiries to showcasing new and exciting products, my role can be extremely varied but very interesting.
I have definitely developed a number of key skills for the sales industry, including communication and interpersonal skills and a great grounding in financial accumen which i believe is key for my future.
I have been enjoying my programme as it seems to be a good recap on some fundamentals of a sales role but I have also had a good chance to recap some of the learnings from my Masters degree.
The programme is very well structured with a decent amount of time between each workshop, allowing you to complete learning and assignments inbetween
I recieve all the support I require from my employer
I also receive all of the support from my training provider as and when I need it
I have already taken away a lot of really positive learnings from my time on the programme and I look forward to developing and including a lot more moving forward
I think usually, there would have been but since covid started, this has become limited. There have been a number of online activites that we have been able to get involved with though.
Yes
Work based culture is really great at Premier. I feel able to ask questions and have found my time at Premier Foods a great place to start my career.
Just be yourself and show that you are driven to succeed.
