My apprenticeship has only started 1 month ago so the learning process is not yet that far along. I would say that the course has a lot of information and resources to support with continuous learning and development of skills. The apprenticeship will allow me to develop the project knowledge and experience that I have currently and be able to implement that in a practical way.
My apprenticeship has only started 1 month ago so it is hard to give a full answer to this question as well. My trainer is very supportive and positive as well as all the other members on my apprenticeship in take. I am looking forward to the next year in the apprenticeship.
The programme is very structured and well organised. We have been provided with a view of the overall structure which allows us to suuport with workload and planning managment. The assignments and workload appear to be very segmented and it is continuously advised to manintain within the set workload to help with not overloading so this structure is very useful.
My employer is incredibly supportive in all aspects - to complete the apprenticeship I will need access to workload and projects that are outside of my day-to-day job but my employer is fully suportive of not only providing me those oppurtunities but ensuring they align with the apprenticship's requirements and give me everything I would need to succeed.
I am only 1 month into my apprenticeship so I cannot fully answer this question, however from what I have seen it appears that there is a lot of support from the provider. We have the support of a 1-2-1 trainer, all of the resources we would need throughout the entirety of the apprenticeship and good systems of communication with the provider and trainers as well.
My apprenticeship qualification is not for my current role but for a future role. I think (from being in the first month) that the qualification will fully prepare me as much as possible for the future role. As the qualification is not just an exam but also practical based and evidence of using the skills and techniques learnt needs to be provided I feel it will set me up very well.
Given the current covid environment this is of course more limited and restricted than usual. My employer is involved a lot in charity and local community support and this is very much a focus and priority throughout the company. Professional network events (both internal and external) are also very frequenet and provide a great stepping stone to opening up new networks.
Yes
Nestle is a company that feels like a family. The working environment is always so positive and 'can do' attitude. The company holds a very strong set of values that they actually prioritise within the workplace. The whole working environment is centered around focusing on what can we do better and not focusing on the failures as a negative but learning from these and continuously developing; as individuals, as teams and as a company entirely.
Use the Nestle websites to gain a good understanding of Nestle's core values and ensure that you are aligned to these. For both employee and employer, agreeing on those core values will shine through in interviews and will allow for a much better working environment. Sharing the same goals and values as Nestle makes for a very positive workplace experience.
