On a day to day basis my role involves working in the underground network. Putting cable or subduct underground following a plan for where the cable needs to go to. Rodding and roping in preparation to pull the cable/subduct in UG.
I have learnt new skills working with different cabling machines and setting up road works.
I enjoyed the training.
The programme is well structured giving as much time as possible between each workshop.
Special leave is given for NVQ days and support from others.
Mainly done through a virtual source. support is there when needed.
