Two days a week I go to college to complete my electrical engineering HNC in preparation for my degree. The rest of the week I work in a placement role within the business.
I've become more independent, developed my time management skills, developed my confidence and also grown my knowledge in my area for work placement.
The program is very involving and also rewarding. I enjoy it greatly as there's always support if ever needed and I feel its a great program to be a part of.
With recent events and having to adapt to this, I feel the program has been very well structured and organised to give us the best introduction to the company.
If I ever need support there is plenty of people that I am able to contact and know that they will be willing to help. Regular check ups can also help to keep me on track and allow me to ask any questions.
With work being online I am able to contact my training providers whenever I need and they will help me with any questions or troubles I am having.
I feel it is suited to my role as an engineer as I learn basic principles that are able to be applied during my placement roles.
There's plenty of extra-curricular activities, these are called stretch activities in the work place. There's also social activities arranged with other employees such as football at the local artificial pitches.

BAE is a great place to be employed. They will be sure to feel welcomed and supported to the best of their potential.
Be optimistic and express you're willing to develop yourself throughout your time in the company.
