I am a Digital User Experience (DUX) Apprentice, a member of the Colleague Experience & HR Transformation team. Alongside studying towards my degree ,I get the opportunity to rotate around different areas where there is work that is closely related to my degree which will help me develop my existing skills and learn new ones. I am also assigned buddies who put me at ease and offer considerable help and support throughout my journey.
Being part of the programme has helped me improve my communication and team work skills and of course gain valuable knowledge and get the opportunity to practically apply theoretical knowledge which gives me the chance to gain a wider insight of the field, bring in new ideas and excel in my role!
I think being an apprentice at NatWest Group has been a great experience so far and the fact that no two days are the same, and there is always an exciting opportunity to look forward to is what I enjoy most! I learn something new every day and am surrounded by a bunch of helpful and supportive colleagues who I feel are genuinely wanting to help me make the best out of the opportunity and contribute towards my success!
The programme is structured in an organized manner.
Good support!
Good support! There is usually a chance to reach out and ask for help.
Yes
I think joining NatWest Group is a fantastic chance to offer various growth opportunities and open doors to help passionate joiners thrive in their career.
My 2 top tips would be: 1- It is not about making mistakes it is about how you respond to them. Try to always maintain a positive growth mind-set to help you learn and develop. 2- Always be yourself! You are brilliant because of who you are and what you do so embrace that and be yourself at all times.
