Part of the Change and Transformation team. My role is to support the project managers and various projects within the business. This includes reporting, organising meetings and other ad hoc tasks when required.
My project management skills have greatly improved and I now have the confidence to run my own small projects.
I really enjoy the programme. The work is engaging and my team are extremely supportive and give me the time to complete tasks as well as do any further studies that i need to do for my qualification.
I joined my programme during the pandemic, but I was still given the support i required. We were given a full weeks induction so I knew what was expected of me. I am in regular contact with my learning provider as well as the early careers team.
My entire team are extremely supportive. I am the first apprentice they have had in the team so they are letting me lead in terms of my requirements. If i need anything at all someone is on hand to help or point me in the right direction.
My tutor is excellent. We have monthly meetings where I set goals for that month and am held accountable if i don't meet that target. She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and always willing to signpost if i get stuck with anything.
Yes, my day to day job is certainly helped by what i am learning. Especially when it comes to learning about specific software that i am required to use, it has s been very helpfu;.
As I joined in the middle of the pandemic I haven't attended any extra curricular activities as of yet, but i have been told by members of my team that there will be some!
Yes
So far I have had an extremely positive experience. The culture is friendly and inclusive and i feel supported in both my day to day role and my apprenticeship.
Be yourself. The application process was daunting, but i found that by letting my personality show through the interview I was able to show how i would fit in with the team.
