Apprentices rotate around the business every 6 months. There are some core rotations that you have to do, such as planning. Every rotation encourages you to take on a project to expand your knowledge of the business. We have a uni-day every week which takes you through different business topics.
Excel skills. Oracle knowledge. Confidence. Public Speaking. Communication via teams, email and phone. Time Management for university and work.
I currently enjoy the programme I am on, I have already learnt many things - having only been employed for a few months. I have a good network of apprentices and feel supported by my managers.
We rotate around the business every 6 months, although sometimes this may vary. I feel that we understand our position in the programme and what is expected of us.
Apprentices get regular reviews with our manager, line managers and university lecturer.
I receive a lot of support from our University, fast response and feedback is given.
It definitely makes a difference and makes me more aware of how I interact with people.
Our apprenticeship encourages team building activities. However, there are not any sports teams or professional networking events that I am aware of.
