I am responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to customers. It is important role so guest's satisfaction is high. I am also responsible for checking on customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
I have learnt lots of new skills, like how to change a barrel of beer, food orders/ beer order, managing a team.
I love my programme, I never feel rushed and am always supported and give lots of resources to use if I need to check anything
Everything is well organised and always gives me lots of time to complete work and to let me know in advance when skills days happen and whats coming next
I receive lots of support from my employer, Marstons is a great company to be working for and I'm so happy they are putting in the time and money to train me. Lifetime training has also been amazing for all the work they do too.
Lifetime training gives me so much support and resources, to make sure I can complete my apprenticeship to a high standard.
I have learnt so much from them that I put into practice at work, it makes me a better worker and team leader.
Obviously due to covid most of these cant go ahead. But there are skills days for people to go on networking events, and much more.
Yes
Because they are a great company to work for, they look after their employees and want to see them grow and succeed.
Be yourself, its better to have differences then for everyone to be the same. Always try and get educated they offer so much to you and it will make you a better team leader and understand so much more about the industry.
