Assisting people in Sales, Project Management and Professional Services with consultancy by managing, organising and scheduling 50+ professional services consultants. I manage their calendars, bookings, cancellations and more to ensure the standard of consultancy sold stays high.
Our department communicates with a large number of internal stakeholders daily, I have had many opportunities to advance my skills in both written and verbal communication within a professional setting.
There is plenty of variety in my daily tasks, so there's always something keep me busy and on my toes which means the role is never boring. Softcat also offers us exclusive incentives and provides us with opportunities to go the extra mile and show off our skills.
We have regular meetings with our training provider and Learning & Development team who clearly outline our current and future steps in the programme. They also spare no cost in supporting us if and when it is required.
Both the internal Learning & Development team and training provider keep us updated on any news or updates we need to be aware of and are always happy to provide quality advise and help at any time.
A lot. They stay in contact with all of us on the course regularly and are always happy to answer any questions regarding the course and teaching material. They also help us with personal matters such as maintaining and promoting good mental health.
I receive personalised assistance which really helps with my motivation and performance because I know they understand our situation and are happy to adapt to suit our needs.
Three months into my apprenticeship with Softcat I was given the opportunity to show off my individual skills and be part of the new hobbies initiative by leading the photography group, which has been very successful. I am a part of the apprentice committee and helping with the gaming group.
