I work in Regulatory and Mandatory change in the Commercial sector of the bank. We are currently planning a project, where day to day I collaborate with my team members and various stakeholders on help the transition of the project be seamless and effective.
I have developed my problem solving skills, communication, analytical skills and reflection skills so far. I have also learned new platforms I had no previous experience in and gained more knowledge about my organisation and how it works.
I really enjoy my programme. I have been placed in a great team with supportive colleagues and I am continuously challenged and busy learning new things.
My programme is really well structured. I have had multiple meetings with my Apprentice Development Practitioner keeping me informed and I have had a good amount of time to settle into my organisation.
I have received a lot of support from my employer, as we have weekly meetings to track how I am doing, feeling and if I need any help.
I have received good support from my training provider, we have had multiple meetings where they have checked in on how I am progressing so far and I can ask any questions.
I think it helps by giving you time to reflect on your learning and focus on skills you want to improve that are specific to your job role.
There are a lot of virtual events you can join to help your professional development, your wellbeing, or personal development. Unfortunately due to COVID there are no social activities yet.

Natwest is a great employer that really cares about its employees. They take the time to find out what's important to people and how they can help, support or facilitate things to show this.
To take the time to research or learn the resources offered to you before your interview and demonstrate this.
