I am in controls and governance where we monitor changes that are being made in technology and assess the risks that come with it.
I have only been here a few months and have already developed key skills in technology such as excel and developed my understand and knowledge of technology as a whole and the processes that come with it,
I am thoroughly enjoying my programme and have been very warmly welcomed to my team.
It is very well structured and my apprenticeship assessor is very organised.
I feel I am very supported not only with my work but with my wellbeing as well. It has been made clear that my employer wants me to learn as much as I can and to develop all sorts of key life skills as well as doing my day to day job.
We do a support call before our main meeting to go over the module I am working on to check if there's anything I am stuck on or need help with - I am very supported.
My qualification helps me to assess what I am doing day to day and helps me to reflect over what skills I am picking up.
There is lots of employee led networks which I have joined a few of. There is also other programmes running for apprenticeships to join which gives us the chance to network with people we normally wouldn't.
Yes
It is a great company to work for, they are very supportive and care about their employees.
If you are joining Natwest definitely take all the opportunities there is such as joining employee led networks etc. as I have already learnt so much that I wouldn't normally in my day-to-day role.
