Stock taking and inputing stock, cashing up the week cooking fresh food for the residents sorting all allergens and making sure there available for eho and residents and make sure staff know what's in what there seriving cleaning and making sure Weekly jobs are done pre briefing and ordering stock
Iv got my level 2 and 3 in food hygiene coshh traing tmf training covid training allergen training and im currently doing my comie chef training
Maths and English have always been a challenge so learning new skills is helping me in my job plus learning how to cook to things and ingredients is amazing
With covid its been difficult I think learning videos would be a good addition to the program for those who work full time also
My employer have been sooo supportive and understanding and helped throw my program
Iv never been so qualified in my role than I am now my manger is amazing and is always putting fresh new courses on highfeilds and learning how to end week etc and how to develop myself
Reading and listening has helped me throughout my training I feel more confident reading using math and also cooking I feel more confident in producing a quality dish for our residents
Christmas party always helps the staff get together with activities such as bowling and meals out

I think for anyone to develop there skills I would highly recommend this course my tutor is supportive and understanding and the out come will be really good for my career
Make sure you are willing to do the work as there's a lot to fit around work
