As a general assistant I complete jobs such as stock replenishment, date checking and sometimes picking. As a team leader I can have jobs such as doing paperwork, answering the phone, dealing with customer feedback and accommodating to staff and customers.
I have learnt new skills such as delegating tasks, empowering but also challenging staff and learning to communicate with a team. As existing skills, I have Developed my team work and communication
I really enjoy my programme. It’s been a great opportunity for me to develop and improve my skills. I find it very friendly and a great way to learn new things.
My programme is very structured and organised. We have allocated times for our meetings and stick with time frames for each area of the programme.
From my employer I receive a great a amount of support. We have dedicated times every week where we will sit and go through the sections of the programme to help my understanding.
I recieve a lot of support from my training provider. They allow me to to work independently but also offer me the support if I need it.
It helps me to perform better in my role because it gives me a much better understanding of what I can do better in my role.
We have a talking shop rep who can can plan some fundraising events that me, and other staff, can get involved in.
Yes
It is a great company with great ethics and core values. As for my store in particular, it’s a great environment to be in.
My tips would be to do a little bit of research about the company ahead of any interviews to allow you to be a standout individual
