I support the team across the full suite of markets products gaining exposure to people across Syndicate, Sales and Trading and the broader corporate bank. I get a lot of independence for pricing transactions and presenting my thoughts it's a great place to learn
I've learned a variety of new skills learning how fixed income and interest rate derivative markets works across our full suite of products including bonds, private placements, swaps, caps and floors. As well as the technical skills I have also built on my communication skills and presenting skills
I love the endless opportunities to learn and take advantage of the experience of my colleagues across the bank
Extremely well structured, my line manager is really supportive of the programme and i have a dedicated coach at BPP
I receive lots of support - there is buy-in for the apprenticeships across all the key stakeholders in the organisation. I always feel comfortable to ask questions and get involved in projects
Lots of support, we have dedicated online resources and a training coach available
The CFA has helped to deepen my understanding across Fixed Income and Rates whilst also learn about new products that our desk doesn't normally touch including equities and alternative investments
There are a variety of social networking events to get involved in, the Analyst and Associate council for example helps provide learning events for juniors across the organisation
