My role involves me creating content for our social media platforms, completing internal and external pieces of marketing, I also am tasked with growing our social media following and presence, and ensuring that we have continual and consistent growth across all platforms, additionally making sure I come up with different strategies to ensure we maintain our social media audiences.
Since joining LMP Education my skill set has been completely transformed. Prior to joining I already had foundational digital skills acquired from sixth form. However, combined with both my apprenticeship and exposure to a professional environment my skills have evolved significantly. I have also experienced both professional and personal growth and my confidence has grown hugely.
I really enjoy my programme. I feel as if we have a really positive work environment and encourage each other to best we can all possibly be. We consistently build each other up but also hold each other to account and I think that really helps with our departmental growth.
My programme is structured in a way that ensures I get the best out of my time as an apprentice, it allows me to learn and understand the fundamentals of my profession. I am also given consistent support by my line manager but I am also allowed the freedom to learn independently.
I recieve siginicant support from my employer, my team is a very nurturing and supportive environment, I am given help whenever I need or request it but am also given the space to learn on my own. I am aware of where I can access support and know I can request it whenever I want to.
I receive significant support from my training provider and am made aware of the requirements of my subject, especially since the introduction of our new tutor resources to help us through our apprenticeship have become extremely accessible. I enjoy my apprenticeship significantly and can't wait too see where the qualifications I gain will take me.
Yes, it definitely does, it teaches me the vital aspects of marketing and during lessons, I am shown ways in which I could improve within my role. My qualification also outlines what is expected of me as a Digital Marketer both while being an apprentice and post apprenticeship.
Yes, there is. My company regularly puts on staff social events to ensure we all stay in contact during these times. When not under government restrictions they also consistently host staff events both in the office and out of it. They also put on events ensuring we are taking care of our mental health especially with the way the world is at the moment.
Yes
Being an apprentice here has had a significant impact on me both professionally and personally, I feel as if I have both matured as a person and a professional and I have been taught fundamental skills within my profession that I can continue to take with me throughout life and use them to better myself.
I would advise them to take full advantage of the opportunity you have been given. Ensure you immerse yourself fully in both your workplace and academic aspects of your apprenticeship. Take study time when necessary and make sure you check in with both your line manager and subject tutor consistently.
