  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • A typical day for me consists of daily account management such as answering queries and attending meetings for my customers. In this role, you'll spend most of the time prospecting and trying to win business to hit your targets and KPis. I would say that no day is the same!

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is very well structured by our apprentice managers and leaders, there is a nice balance of studying towards our qualification and working to earn extra commission on top of our salaries. This job gives you the freedom to create your own success and that's probably why apprentices do well

  • We have weekly progress reviews with our managers to ensure we are on track. My manager was more than happy for me to reach out if I ever needed help or some simple advice to ensure things run smoothly. Softcat is very different to other companies as most colleagues are always open for some help/advice.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Our trainers at Remit are always an email or phone call away which is really helpful, they have strict deadlines in place so its important that they are there to guide us through the process and to ensure work gets completed on time, Remit had a big challenge due to covid and did a great job with us.
