The experience has been a very great one, the tuitotion providers are always there willing to help out the apprentices. There is really great communication between the training tuition providers. The apprenticeship is very useful in developing the competency of a future accountant where we have an endpoint assessment and regular reviews of our professional development
Yes I have learnt a variety of different skills from the apprenticeship. For example, my client relationship skill has built a lot due to being exposed to a variety of clients to work with and having to communicate a lot of different problems really does build my communication skills higher.
I really do enjoy the programme a lot, this is because it really does challenge each apprentice in all types of skills such as problem solving, communication and team working. For example, the exams as part of the programme really do prepare you to work on different engagements which is useful in the working environment.
The programme is structured very well, you have your days where you receive tuition support from tuition providers for a variety of reasons such as exam learnings and the other being to assess everyones professional development. The support is really great, the tuition providers always ensure that you are at the top of your game.
the amount of support i receive from my employer is a great amount, they are always willing to support in any way possible such as by training us in our job and always ensure that we carry out training programmes in a variety of different key areas that relate to aduiting
I receive a great amount of support from the training provider. They are very useful in help when it comes to asking for help on complex exam questions, you can even get the tuition providers to call you to talk about the answers and how to solve it in the future.
AS mentioned above, the traning qualificaiton does so much when it comes to building teh competency of our job role to be a competent accountant. This is done in a variety of ways such as exams, professional development trackers, maintaing a training log so we can reflect areas we demonstrated professional skills.
due to the pandemic there has not been as much activies as would have been hoped for. however, as we get back to a normal way of life i expect there to be a lot more activities for us apprentices to take part in such as going out and meeting more colleagues.
Yes
PwC really does hold its repuation, they are there for you when you need support, they are very understanding when it comes to work life balance. PwC has been really good in supporting the covid generation graduates by introducing us to current colleagues and spending more time on us which has been great.
the advice i would give is to really try your hardest when it comes to applying for the job role, it is a tough process but it will always be worthwhile at the end. Also, research what you are getitng into and whether you would enjoy the job role as a lot of hours are invested into the job.
