ive alraedy been in a few teams, at the moment im on a L2 support team for a service called PayIt by Natwest. i create incident tickets for L3 support to review and they get back to us with the problem so we can tell L1.
ive learnt many new skills academically and ive learnt a range of soft skills. To name a few ive learnt confidence, how to work in a team, time management skills and on top of all that ive learnt skills coding teaches you such as logical thinking and patience etc.
i have been really enjoying my programme so far i have classroom sessions every 1-2 months to primarily focus on my apprenticeship and when im not doing that im working with my team daily.
it is structured well i have occasional calls with my digital leaning consultant to make sure im on track and they help me get ready for classroom sessions.
i have a call with my manager every two weeks and he makes sure im feeling comfortable and helps me with learning. he and other members of the time are available when i need them if i have any questions about work.
my training provider is available 24/7 and they respond within 24 hours to any questions or if i submit work so they are very helpful.
i am learning multiple programming languages with my training provider therefore i can work better within my team and be more helpful.
yes there is always things going on for example i have recently signed up for the hackerthon coming up soon. i also take part in coding training outside of work hours provided by natwest to widen my knowledge.
