It is important that all children’s needs are met and they are all safe. I must follow all polices and procedures and guidelines which are put into place to ensure that I am carrying out my role. I must ensure that I am aware and have knowledge of safeguarding
Since working here I have gained so many skills that I did not have before. I have become confident within myself to speak to people I do not know. I can multitask and have the ability to confidently carry out roles independently as well as delegate jobs to other staff.
I enjoy the programme very well as working with children is such a joy. I enjoy seeing the children develop and grow. I also enjoy studying and learning about things that I did not know of before. Things I carry out in practice as well as on a daily basis.
It is very organised. Within my practice I am able to follow all routines and am aware of what the routine consists of. I can make arrangements with tutors and know when I have tutoring sessions. Everything is organised so it runs smoothly. It does not interfere with my role.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. I know that if there is anything I am in need of I can ask and if there is anything wrong they can tell me. I receive support through various training, CPD and staff meetings where we can discuss any matters.
I receive a lot of support. I am able to ask questions when I make arrangements to see my tutor. They provide me with all of the resources and support that I would require towards my qualification. They support me with anything that I am in need of help of.
As I am studying and learning I understand why my role is very important. It makes me realise why certain things are put into place. It only makes my knowledge develop even more and that ensures me that I should provide the best practice possible for the children and parents.
Social activities are always put into place but have been on hold due to the current coronavirus situation. Prior to that there were many social activities which also was related to work and not related to work. This was a great opportunity to build a good and strong team force.
Yes
I am able to receive all of the support and help that I need. It has made me so confident and has changed the person that I am in a very good way. Taking on many responsibilities and tasks has made me a stronger person and has lifted my self-esteem.
It is a great start to a career with working with children. Early years is fundamental and being able to be part of their growth and development is rewarding. Providing the best possible care for them and ensuring that their parents are happy is amazing. It’s an amazing experience.
