I provide the management accounts, all monthend reporting and any variance analysis against forecast. I manage the reporting, as well as providing project analysis on all contracts
Yes, excel, communication, leadership. I am still developing on leadership. I have also learnt how to have difficult conversations and how to manage time and people
I enjoyed the apprenticeship programme with Kaplan, however I found that a lot of it was not actually relevant to my studies which I found quite unecessary. There was a lot of extra work involved which I did not see how it benefited me in my studies
Not well organised at all. I had numerous Kaplan tutors, for around 7 months I did not have one at all. My current tutor never stays up to date with where I am in my studies and she is not very helpful
I get the occasional study day but not always as we are always very busy at work. I get time off for exam. They are keen for me to complete the studies though, and they pay for the course
Not much at all. My tutor doesn't even provide me much guidance on the apprenticeship work I have to complete
The qualification is definitely relevant as it relates to what I do in the office. It does help me to better understand how and why things work a certain way. It will also help me in future roles as well
No not really, I am a member of the employee forum, but there isn't anything else. It has been a lot harder in the last year or so though due to COVID
Yes
It is a nice place to work, the people are nice and if you work hard you can progress there. There are opportunities for promotion. The working hours are also good.
To really do your homework in the industry and to be confident in the job interview
