Yes, learnt how to manage projects effectively and liaise with various stakeholders both internally and externally. Also how to manage budgets and contracting within projects.
Extremely, as it gave me the opportunity to develop my skills and apply the knowledge gained. The programme was delivered at my own pace and had full support from my line mangers and director for the division.
It was well organised but like any other Apprenticeship standards, the first couple of cohorts become the guinea pigs so it evolved with time.
My employer has been extremely supportive throughout as I faced some personal challenges during my apprenticeships and was given time and space to work through them.
The training provider has been supportive but it was a bit sporadic in the earlier days. Majority of the learning was online with little face to face support.
The qualification gave me the knowledge and understand and tools to apply in my current role so I would say it has helped me to improve my performance at least by 20 %
