My role involves finding solutions, first of type approvals, testing and much more!
I have learnt many new skills, coming into the role with little or no knowledge or skills for the role I have been supported in developing skills and gaining qualifications.
I really enjoy the programme that I on its one that never gets boring with an everchanging role and new technologies.
It is a really well structured programme, and the training provider and employer are always willing to adapt it to suit me best.
I receive a huge amount of support from my employer, they are always happy to help and check what I need to achieve the best I can.
I receive a lot of support for training and qualifications, I am always given time to revise, resources and help from colleagues.
The qualification allows me to have an in depth understanding of what I am doing and it also allows me to work independently and lead tasks.
There are lots of extra-curricular activities to get involved in, during covid these have been adapted to be online over video calls
Yes
The support and help I get from the employer is outstanding and I believe that recommending them to friends so that they get a similar opportunity to me is important.
Being open and honest about your knowledge, you are never looked down on for not knowing something and they will put things in place to ensure that you develop the skills and qualifications you need. Be relaxed in the application process, if you get to the test stage of the process and you make a mistake highlight it and resolve it, this shows that you understand how to improve and shows you ae trustworthy.
