General Adhoc administration tasks such as booking meetings, facilitating meetings, ordering stationery and PPE. I facilitate the internal computer based training packages as well.
I've developed my communication skills and confidence massively throughout the course of my apprenticeship as I've taken the step into the working world from college and have to liaise with people on a daily basis. I've also developed my IT skills throughout my apprenticeship.
I enjoy my job and working for Syngenta massively. The people I work with are great and everyone is so friendly and helpful. If I've ever struggled or needed help, the help has been there and offered to me.
My programme is really well structured in all sense. The college aspects of my course have run alongside my work as I've been developing my college tasks and using this knowledge in the workplace.
I've recieved so much support throughout my whole course. With my college work from colleagues, and also with my work for my employer.
My college assessor has always been there for me and has helped me throughout both my Level 2 and 3 courses. If I've ever been unsure, she has been able to guide me in the right direction to complete my tasks.
I think I've been able to transfer my skills learnt from college and apply this in my workplace. It has given me wider understanding of the business world as a whole and understand why what I'm doing at work helps the company.
There are social events that happen throughout the year to boost staff morale and keep people connected. There are trips to local businesses like the theatre. There have been trips to foot golf and also bowling. We also have ice cream trucks on site every year.
Yes
Syngenta is a great employer who will help you every step of the way, with your college work, and also your job role and help you develop as a person doing this as they want to keep you on once your apprenticeship has finished.
Be yourself in your interview. Syngenta like a good team player and a sociable person who can get along with everyone.
