My experience was rather poor in comparison to other apprentices I became close with at the college. Jobs were not provided and I was more than often used as labour with little to no guidance most of the time when I was given a job.
The skills could have been developed more if I was put into more challenging conditions.
I like to be challenged as that was my intention from the start but after a year of being starved with engineering related work, I felt as if I lost interest and feel the take over by Asahi made it worse.
No organisation and became very corporate after a year and a half resulting in little structure.
I believe my employer was governed by someone above him meaning his choices weren’t really what he wanted which resulted in little attention towards me, the apprentice.

Help is put off till it suits the business.
Asahi made it difficult to feel interested in working for the company.
No
Waste of time. Invest your time in a place that is as stimulated to get the most out of you as you are with them.
Don’t attempt.
