My role as an assistant associate does vary day to dad. Some days I will perform audit tasks on excel and some days I tend to perform admin tasks for my managers. As an assistant associate I get to experience a range of tasks which means that my skills progress in my areas.
While working at the company as an assistant associate I have learnt many new skills such as how to communicate effectively, how to manage my time while working and having exams at the same time as well as learning new IT skills on Excel, teams, work and Deloitte programmes. At Deloitte you constantly learn new skills.
As a first year assistant associate brightstart it has been a great programme to expand all your skills as this programme gives you all the resources you need in rder to do so, however sometimes it can be extremity stressful having exam pressure and balancing it with work, this is something i am working on
The programme I am on is the brightstart programme, it is definitely well structured as you get your exam routine an work routine well in advance which gives you time to prepare and plan ahead for the future. The programme is also organised as there is a set routine that we stick to.
At deloitte we receive a lot of support from members of staff working here and also from people that do not work here. We have an exam coach which we can go to when we stressed out and we also have a external kaplan coach we can speak to at any time.
At deloitte we recieve a lot of support from our training provider Kaplan, the teachers are always more than willing to go out of their way to give us a helping hand e.g. answer questions outside of college time, which they do voluntarily. They go out of their way to help us
The apprenticeship I have chosen is the the brightstart apprenticeship. It definelty helps me to perform better as there are plenty of resources and materials offered by this apprenticeship which help guide us into the right direction. The qualification also helps me understand more about the actual work i perform so theres a great link.
At Deloitte there are loads of activities that are constantly being offered to its members of staff here. Eg coffee club whih is a great way to interact with new people. The activities range from charity events to social events and they seem great to take part and get involved in.
