Within the apprenticeship you undertake a number of rotations lasting from 6-12 months in different areas of the bank. I currently working in Trade and Supplier finance assisting the director with clients trade needs such as trade loans, guarantees and letters of credit.
Variety of skills as have undertaken rotations in both risk and front office functions
I have really enjoyed the programme as you get to experience a range of areas so you can see where you like to work and where you don’t like as much and decide what career path you would like to take.
Very well organised. You undertake rotations in different areas for a length of 6-12 months. You get to prioritise what areas you would like to go into and the Emerging Talent team are extremely helpful with this.
Lots of support. When undertaking my exams and apprenticeship work we were allowed a day off each week to study and were very supportive.
Good level of support. We had weekly webinars to go through the content and lots of training materials.
I think it helps quite a bit as the modules we went through were relevant to banking.
There are some network events. There is a football tournament each year with the chance to win tickets to the Champions League final.
Yes
Great place to work. Friendly staff who are always willing to support with your development.
