My role involves working closely with clients to ensure that we provide a good level of customer service and therefore will allow the renewal process to have a good transition. I have had to learn about the insurance industry and the process we need to undertake for a renewal for the year.
I have learnt many new skills, as this is a brand new industry to me and never worked in it myself before. I have also developed on skills that have been transferable from jobs that I have had before and I have been able to develop on them more too.
I have really enjoyed the programme as I love the team I am in a the support I have received from them. The company culture I have enjoyed too and feel like I have been commended for the hard work I have done too in order to develop within my role.
The programme was very well organised and supportive. We had an induction and and a weeks worth of training. I have been given the support I need for my exams and for my studying.I was also assigned a mentor to guide me through work and be that support I needed.
I have endless support from my manager and team as a whole, they have been really supportive especially with me being brand new to the role. The accessibility of the support is crucial for me and has been there throughout! The general attitude towards supporting me has been amazing and everyone has always been willing.
My tutor has been excellent and my training provider too, I have had to switch coaches though and have not yet been contacted by Davies or my new coach? Therefore I am having to reach out myself. The accessibility for support though has been amazing. I have overall enjoyed doing the apprenticeship too.
My training provider has really allowed me to succeed within my role at Aon, this is due to the fact that I have had to train and study the industry as part of my apprenticeship. I have learnt so much and developed alot into my role and in the apprenticeship itself.
There are loads on activities that Aon provide, in terms of Christmas events and actiities- there are social events all the time and clubs and gatherings we can join in the most various of meetings. When I am not working I am keeping my body fit and healthy by homeworkouts.
Yes
I would recommend Aon to a friend because everyone has been so friendly anfd lovely despite working from home. The insurance industry is so interesting and enlightening and therefore I want other people to witness this and I wish it was more easily accessible for everyone. So yes I would recommend.
In terms of the application process keep your mind wide open and honestly think for the best in terms of succeeding. The assessment day I didn't do as I done it at home, but keep focused and don't stress about it and do what you can do in the time.
