Assisting residents with daily living tasks, such as hygiene, dressing, mobility and nutrition. I also assist to administer medication
I have learnt new administration of medication skills and developed my communication skills with residents and colleagues. I have also learnt the 6C’s from memory and the legislation involved for my role.
I am enjoying the program so far and am learning new skills and feel more confident of my role
It is very well structured considering the COVID circumstances and feel my trainer has the whole apprenticeship controlled
I haven’t needed much support as I have only started recently. But did support me to start the course and with the induction
Mark has so far provided a lot of support with helping me learn new things and explaining the end point assessment for the end of the course
It will help me be more knowledgable on a daily basis and will provide support for future learning in my role
There isn’t extra curricular for me to take part in with my employer
Yes
Because so far the company has been good and helpful when I’ve needed it and the people I work with are friendly and have been welcoming.
Try and be a positive person and just really sell yourself to them as it’s a great company to work for
