  • I work within the accounts department carrying out day-to-day to roles, including invoicing and contacting suppliers. I also help work on the annual accounts.

  • Yes, basically all the skills I've learnt since starting my role and apprenticeship are new since I don't come from a financial background.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Whilst the course is extremely challenging, I love learning content, especially when I can bring it into the workplace.

  • It's pretty well organised as the timetables are released well in advance.

  • My employer is great and very understanding when it comes to my workload.

  • My line manager is great when it comes to my course as he's very open and willing to help with any areas I'm finding challenging.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I've already seen a vast improvement so I'm looking forward to progressing further.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, we have a social committee who host monthly social events. We also have a fitness & professional development log we complete regularly and review as a team on a monthly basis.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I've been given multiple opportunities to grow whilst I've been there, including the opportunity to on this course. I environment is also very inviting and I get on extremely well with my colleagues.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Impulse Decisions Ltd?
  • Just simply be yourself, it's the best way to be.
