I look after all children and make sure they are safe and secure within the setting. I change nappies, childrens clothes, etc. I help children settle into the setting and keep track of childrens development.
I have learnt lots of new skills such as working comfortably in a team and communicating well. I have developed my safeguarding skills while being in the setting. I have learnt how to do reports.
I really enjoyed learning new skills and developing on my knowledge whilst being in the setting with the children.
It was quite organised. A little wobbly at some stages where work got a little mixed but this was through email.
I received a lot of support from my employer. They let me have time out of work to get coursework done and let me leave early some days to get my work done at home. They also supported me with some of the questions.
I received a lot of support from my training provider as they sent me all the information i needed to help with the questions that i did.
I believe that it has taught me the correct knowledge to be better in my role such as teaching me how to deal eith certain situations.
We dont have any extra curriculum activities. Other than staff meetings and the Christmas party at the end of the year.
Yes
I love it here. The people are lively and make you feel so welcome. They are very supportive and will help with all work given.
Just feel like home and bring a smile in each day. Everything runs smoothly.
