Leading facilitation Team, deployment, observations, feedback, analysising data, creating delivery content for multiple areas of the business.
Lots, from the how a training need is identified, steps involved to analysise need, creating objectives that are tangible and can be evaluated to show ROE. Creating training content, Being aware of the learners needs, including the science that's sits along side
I liked the way it was set out, understanding how the department sits in the wider organisation then deep diving into areas that would support me in role. I started to do tasks that wouldn't normallyfit in my remit and collaborate more which supported my learning.
At the start very well structured, workshops, webinars and check ins were very frequent. Towards the end of the program that has dropped off a bit, partly due to changes in the team at WM, also, as the end is more an individual project.
Lots, I am able to plan my time, work out where I can fit in my personal development. Bi-weekly checkins to ensure I'm on track and an opportunity to voice needs or concerns is invaluable
A goodamount. The end of the course, which I'm nearing now is quite complicated. I have had 3 assessors during the year. My most recent is supporting me, I understand they have a heavy workload so isn't as frequent as I would like
Much, I understand the steps to anaylising need, designing, delivering and evaluating. I see needs from a learning perspective and take the business direction into account. So much more measured in my approach
We have meeting with the wider team and opportunities to network in the business due to the training I deliver
Yes
Its a clique, but you are a name not a number, and its a big company, so in my experience thats rare. They have been awesome over the pandemic too. Frequent check-ins. colleagues are definitely a priority at DC
Swot up on the company, be prepared to work hard, be authentic, there's a lot of career opportunities for good people
