Working alongside our vendors (HPE, Apple, Cisco) in order to align our strategy to theirs. Assisting with keeping track of deals, running incentives for sales and also training. Day to day I speak to many account managers and also vendors.
Yes, I’ve learnt so many skills around working in a large business such as communication, time management and efficient use of teams and other Microsoft applications. I’ve also learnt how to use other platforms such as sales logixs.
I enjoy working at softcat as the people around me are so friendly and there is always such a fun atmosphere. Softcat are an amazingly generous company to work for and always put their employees first.
My programme is structured well as we have two monthly lessons with our remit development coach. We also have regular check ins with our L&D team from softcat.
My employer is always there if I need to speak to him and nothing is ever too much to ask for.
We have monthly group lessons and also monthly 121s with our training provider.
The qualification has taught me so much about business and it is easily applicable to work within softcat. For example we learnt about communication styles and this has helped me alter how I communicate with different people day to day.
At the moment no as I started during lockdown 2020. But there has been teams calls especially within my team to get to network and get to know the team.
Yes
