  • My role focusses on helping my team deliver marketing campaigns and promote products to raise brand awareness. It is a diverse role and therefore my day-to- day responsibilities can vary in the following areas, updating social media platforms, working alongside stakeholders, and setting up email campaigns.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Whilst being at Sage I have increased my skillset through different avenues. Both on-the-job and off-the-job training have allowed me to gain insight into the industry and allowed me to develop soft skills as well as technical skills that will undoubtedly help me progress in my career.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have enjoyed being an apprentice programme as it has given an idea of the real world and has been an excellent way of gaining essential skills that There has also been plenty of opportunities to socialise and connect with other apprentices from all walks of life.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Since I've started with my apprenticeship, I have received incredible support from my Sage. Whether that's through well-being days or by 1-2-1 meetings with my managers each week. They have been able to support me and make sure that I am value as an employee.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification allows you to touch on areas which you might not necessarily work on with your employer, therefore you still get chance to learn about areas that may be valuable to another employer.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are a plethora of extra-cirricular activities. Whilst being at Sage I have participated in a sports, in-person events and used one of my foundation days to donate blood.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Sage?
  • When working at Sage you will recognise that your colleagues are nice and respectful. There's no need to put on a front during your interview, as long as you come across a go-getter, who is hands-on and friendly you will fit in and manage to impress your interviewers.
